100 photos later, and after scanning them for any blemishes, wrong angle or lipstick on the teeth, you always go back to one of the first photos. We all do it, we're all the same, but sometimes, selfies with babies goes a little wrong.

Trying to get your baby to pose at the best of times is hard enough, but when you need to make sure you look just as cute as your cheeky baby next to you it's hard, especially when "they look cute and well you just don't," (Although ladies, you probably do).
Then sometimes, you're feeling fresh and you've managed to drag yourself out of your pjs and slippers and put on a face of makeup and you're hairs finally managed to be washed, blowdried and straightened, for the first time in ages, and well, baby doesn't want to play along.

Sometimes though, the most precious and funniest photos are the ones that go wrong, the ones from the cutting room floor, the ones that don't make it to social media; they're the ones that hold the funny memories, the ones that aren't full of forced smiles and the ones that will make you giggle for years to come; the ones that will come out on their 18th birthday party.
