Travel bucket list // Top 3

18:00

Hello! Nicole here; it's my turn to get into a dream world, leave reality and focus on the finer things in life. I'm sat typing this up in bed at 01:00am, with the baby in bed, partner in snoresville, fan on full blast, temperature still 16degrees outside and 27 inside and my brain is ticking over on overtime, i'm going into my own little fantasy world to dream up my top three destinations. I am actually off to Disneyland, Paris in August and i cannot wait, Lucas' first proper holiday and my first time abroad with my partner... we've been together 3 and a half years but just never gone together.
I'll stop rambling on now and start; they're in no particular order.

1. Orlando, Florida

I am the biggest kid and
my life is Disney, Disney, Disney. I am a collector of matching Mickey and Minnie teddies and a hoarder and serial disney merchandise buyer. I have been to Florida before and done to usual touristy things like, all of the Disney world parks, sea world, universal studios, Nasa and mall shopping, but due to my company being an old boyfriend, it just tarnishes the memories slightly. I would LOVE to go back to America again with Lucas, my son and my partner and do the whole USA experience again. Maybe one day, as I do miss IHOP, the UK really need to invest in one, oh! and Cinnamon toast crunch cereal.

2. Naantali, Finland

Secondly, anyone who follows my instagram or blog will know I have an absolute huge obsession with the Moomins (I even have a moomin tattoo).
I would love to go to Finland, especially moomin world in Naantali, it's rated extremely highly and just looks sensational.
Finland would be amazing to go to at Christmas time, travel to moomin valley for a day or two, then onto a plane to visit Santa Claus in the Iceland. Finland has a lot to offer; we can help moomin mama out, go exploring with the Hemulen and then hop on a plane off to visit Santa and his reindeers. Bliss, what an unusual sounding christmas, but perfect.

3. Toyko, Japan

The third and final place on my list, and far from the least is Japan. If you hadn't noticed there is a theme going, places I want to visit because of some sort of, character love. My love for studio Ghibli is quite a new one, but a huge one of that, i've loved Totoro for a couple of years, but it was re-sparked and new ghibli films introduced to me by my brothers girlfriend last year, that made the love stronger. I'd love to go and hug totoro, chase the cat bus, find no face and just take in the Japanese lifestyle for a week, or forever. Proper Japanese Sushi, Japanese culture and the Studio Ghibli museum. Wonderful.

Mine are slightly different to Jodie's, minus the love for Disney and America. To read Jodie's click here
We'd love to know yours and whether you'd be more of a Nicole style holiday maker or a Jodie style holiday maker.
